In tempi di pandemia, sembra quasi impossibile trovare un lavoro e sempre più persone cercano consigli su come trovare un impiego e su come affrontare un colloquio.
Vediamo, pertanto, alcuni modi in cui potete differenziarvi dagli altri che fanno domanda per la stessa posizione.
1. Fornite delle referenze ogni volta che potete.
Le aziende apprezzano e si fidano dei propri dipendenti per assumere candidati idonei. È anche un’alternativa più economica all’assunzione attraverso un’agenzia.
Esistono diversi modi in cui una raccomandazione può aiutare la vostra applicazione.
Le raccomandazioni assicurano innanzitutto una verifica più rapida del curriculum. Inoltre, può avvantaggiare la vostra candidatura rispetto ad altre nelle fasi successive. Se arrivate all’ultima fase del colloquio, una buona raccomandazione gioca a vostro favore. Tuttavia, tenete presente che queste funziona meglio se provengono da qualcuno che lavora o ha lavorato in azienda.
Se avete già in tasca una raccomandazione, bene. Altrimenti, non preoccupatevi, perché ci sono altri modi per trovarla.
Prima di tutto, trovate qualcuno su LinkedIn che lavori nell’azienda per cui vi candidate e chiedetegli se ha 15 minuti per discutere la posizione. Quindi, potete cogliere l’occasione per chiedergli una raccomandazione.
Un’altra alternativa è cercare un gruppo professionale su LinkedIn o in un altro social network e chiedere se qualcuno può aiutarvi.
2. Adattate il vostro CV alla posizione e fate domanda solo per le posizioni inerenti.
Molti fanno domanda per posizioni per le quali non sono qualificati, altri invece più insicuri cercano lavori per i quali sono molto più qualificati del necessario.
Un errore molto comune è fare domanda per un lavoro per cui siete troppo qualificati o troppo poco qualificati. Per avere successo nella vostra ricerca di lavoro, è importante essere realistici ed applicare solo per le posizioni adatte al vostro curriculum.
Inoltre, il mercato del lavoro è estremamente competitivo e anche le persone perfettamente qualificate per una posizione devono affrontare una grande concorrenza.
3. Per questo motivo consiglio di selezionate le parole chiave più importanti dalla descrizione del lavoro e includerle nel vostro curriculum.
La persona incaricata di analizzare il curriculum non trascorrerà più di 10 secondi a leggere il vostro prima di passare a quello successivo, quindi evidenziare le parti che corrispondono alla descrizione dell’offerta e mettetele in alto. Ci vogliono solo 10 minuti e può fare la differenza.
4. Non sottovalutare il tempo per prepararvi ad una intervista di lavoro, poiché può aiutarvi ad aumentare la vostra fiducia durante il colloquio.

Un modo per essere meglio preparati per un colloquio è assicurarti di avere cinque esempi concreti del vostro lavoro che potete spiegare da diverse angolazioni. Una volta che sarete in grado di farlo, sarete pronti per qualsiasi domanda dell’intervista.
In particolare, consiglio il metodo STAR, (situazion, task, action, result), come tecnica. Viene spesso utilizzato sia dagli intervistatori che dagli intervistati per raccogliere e strutturare tutte le informazioni necessarie su un’abilità specifica.

Tutti almeno una volta nella vita non hanno superato un colloquio di lavoro. Pertanto, non è il caso di abbattersi. Il motivo per cui potreste essere stato rifiutato è perché non eravate adatti alla posizione o perché c’era qualcuno che aveva più competenze. Ciò non significa che non potete essere un buon candidato per altre posizioni in azienda o per quella stessa posizione quando avrete acquisito più esperienza.
Un ultimo consiglio che mi sento di darvi è quello, se non venite assunti, di chiedere all’intervistatore come siete andati e dove avete fallito, e se potete rimanere in contatto con lui.
